Carrying on with the light blue theme from the past few days, I found Diamine Bliss in my hoard of Diamine Inkvent bottles. Transcript:

Well this is much darker than my swatch led me to believe. This was one of the Inkvent colors which means it's a small bottle which also means it's hard to dip the pen. Boy, the things I do for my hobbies. wink. This is a really pretty color though. Not sure when I became such a teal, turquoise, blue, green, etc. fan ... but I can't get enough of them.

I wish it were possible to buy replacement nibs for TWSBI Eco pens. Has anyone figured out a workaround, another product that fits or can be made to fit?

Fountain Pen people…and maybe Fluid Dynamics people: i have mostly fixed a bent nib (it rolled onto the floor! Ahhh) Smooth again, no bends I can see. But it is SO WET that it overwhelms Tomo River Paper and Rhodia etc. like it bleeds instantly it’s so wet. Tines seem to be fine with the gap (i know to make the gap narrower to slow flow, it aint gonna go narrower and is at what should be appropriate width). I am wondering if there is a warp somewhere else causing it to be wet. Like. Maybe the nib is not laying on the feed correctly. It seems fine as in it fits and sets into the little key slot and all that and looks visually ok, but, I know this can affect flow.

Would I need to try to make it lie closer to the feed? Im thinking maybe nib isnt lying close enough to feed so a larger volume of ink is running down? Ie at the base where its in the grip section its fine because thats protected, but then pulls away ever so slightly perhaps, allowing it to increase in flow as it approaches the writing point? Im trying to logic my way through these geometries!

Hey, #fountainPen people - a question:

Just got my first, and it came with a bladder converter. Seems messy and I'm having a hard time telling how much ink I'm getting.

I was going to shop for a piston converter, but a buddy says he prefers to just refill cartridges.

What are y'all's preferences? Help a noob out?

Colorverse Blue Hole

Turns out I don't have as many light blue inks as I thought. I found Blue Hole in the Colorverse inks. I'll dig through my swatches again. This one is nice but doesn't dip well. I don't know if it's because it's so wet or what. I'm using the same pen from yesterday. The swatch has a cool shading to it when it dries. I'm not sure I'll that here.
