I just had the WORST fantasy idea, so of course I immediately wrote it into Charmed Away...

Humanoid gut fauna.

I imagine the microphilia folks are probably way ahead of me on this one.

(I've decided that goblins in general are miniscule/microscopic humanoid entropy spirits that cause rot and disease. Gremlins, a special case, attack mechanical rather than biological systems.)

In Greece and in other Balkan countries there's folklore about a small demon/goblin-type of creature, called the kallikantzaros, which is coming out and making a mess during the 12 days of Christmas. On my side of Greece, Epirus, the women don't put laundry out to dry during these 12 days, otherwise they will supposedly come and steal it. Painted with gouache.
