With the cooler weather I finally get to bake some #sourdough in the main oven again without fighting the air conditioning. A few loaves are just finishing up. Pics momentarily.

The cinnamon raisin loaf.

Seems it needs considerably more cinnamon to make a conspicuous swirl but I'm not willing to dump in pounds of the stuff as American Youtube cooks seem prone to do. ๐Ÿคฃ ๐Ÿž๐Ÿฝ๏ธ๐Ÿœ

Okay, bread turns out much nicer if I keep a tray of water in the oven.

Maybe don't do it in a double boiler way next time, but I kinda like having the contrast, crunchy crust on top where it can go wild with the tearing, and soft on the bottom where it's all smooth.

Cinnamon potency varies a lot, even before getting into fake cinnamon (now with lead!)

Taste was as I like it: a hint of sweet, a hint of cinnamon but predominantly bread and raisins.

@calmeilles If you roll it out flat, then sprinkle enough that the surface of the dough is cinnamon-colored before rolling it up to shape, that should give you the swirl without using insane amounts.
