George BungeHere's an interesting potential discussion for the #DoubleTap show. What do you think of #BlindPeople finding it difficult to #Date and or form genuine relationships with sighted people? Personally, I find that while I don't get treated badly by sighted girls, I often feel as though they don't seriously consider me as someone that would be worth hanging out with. I often feel as though I'm the last to be invited out whenever something is happening, and that makes me quite mad. I've met an awesome group of people who don't seem to think that way, but it'd be great to hear what you think. Also, anybody ever been #Ghosted for no apparent reason? Yeah, I’ve been there. LOL.

Its fair to say that most of my followers will likely already know the content of this link, however for others who have always wondered about how #BlindPeople can use a #SmartPphone for example, check out this link, which hopefully answers a few more questions to. In times where people are often so worried about saying, or doing the wrong thing, I’m of the view that I would rather someone ask questions rather than assume I can’t do something. So often I think it is just that people don’t know, however unfortunately for some it’s that they choose to assume something. So if you get something from this post and want to clarify or ask questions, please do. Because blind people like the original author writes can use smart phones. I can also clarify that we can be parents, educators, use cash machines and much more. Sometimes I might need help though if I’m using an unfamiliar cash point, or if it doesn’t work as expected as another example. (1/2)

Blind people are better at sensing their own heartbeats than sighted people, shows a study by researchers at Karolinska Institutet in Sweden and Jagiellonian University in Poland. The study indicates that blindness leads to a heightened ability in feeling signals from the inner body. The findings are published in the Journal of Experimental Psychology: General.
