@DavidM581 @laughing_kooky My life’s motto, shaped by my #ZenBuddhist practice has always been ‘Don’t shape your life around others’ expectations or try to live their path. Walk your own way, make your own choices, & let your life reflect who you truly are.’
#HadakaShizenyoku is a #ZenBuddhist practice where members of #Mukyōhō enter #nature without clothing as part of disciplined #awareness training. The absence of clothing removes visible status & reinforces #equality among practitioners. Participants move quietly through forests, beaches, or open landscapes while consciously engaging the six consciousnesses taught in #Buddhism: sight, hearing, smell, taste, touch, & mind. (1/2)
Every person who comes to my #ZenBuddhist practice arrives with their own history of conditioning. Some carry unease, others curiosity. Through steady exposure to #NonSexualNudity, those edges soften. They realise how silly they have been. #HadakaShizenyoku offers a grounded way to meet the world without the armour of fabric. By posting openly, I invite people to witness this grounded state & consider how much #freedom lies beneath old habits. (1/15)
In my #ZenBuddhist view, #naturism is not a lifestyle but a realisation. It is nothingness in form: nothing added, nothing taken away. #Nakedness is #truth without commentary, pure being, pure seeing. (5/11)
From my #ZenBuddhist perspective, #Naturism & #Nudity are direct expressions of thusness, #reality as it is, unfiltered & unadorned. In #Mukyōhō #ZenBuddhism, to be #naked is not an act of rebellion or indulgence but of clarity. Clothes symbolise conceptual coverings: identity, status, illusion. Removing them is symbolic of removing delusion. #Nakedness reveals #equality, no one higher, no one lower, no divisions of #gender, wealth, or form. (1/11)
In a #ZenBuddhist view, morality is not a list of “thou shalt nots” imposed from outside, but the way we cultivate clear seeing, kindness, & fidelity in all our small choices. When many small choices lean toward selfishness or tolerance of harm, the whole fabric frays. (6/8)
The Second Noble Truth (samudaya) — the origin of suffering — describes how craving constructs boundaries: craving for becoming, for non-becoming, for forms, for separateness. In #Mukyōhō #ZenBuddhist practice we come to realise that these divisions are fabrications of our #mind, not intrinsic features of #reality. (3/6)
From a #ZenBuddhist perspective, this research resonates with the concept of sudden #enlightenment, or “satori,” where profound understanding arises spontaneously, beyond analytical reasoning. #Zen practice emphasises direct experience & the importance of transcending conventional thought patterns to attain clarity. (2/3)
In modern times, some #ZenBuddhist monks have distilled original teachings into accessible forms that resonate with contemporary life. Rather than only sitting in #meditation halls, they explore methods that honour the essence of #mindfulness while engaging the #body & creativity. This evolution maintains rigour yet invites curiosity, bridging tradition & innovation. #Zen practise becomes inclusive, inviting diverse communities to connect directly with presence & #awareness. One of the great joys of #NakedHiking is the absence of unnecessary weight. Clothes, shoes, & heavy gear can feel cumbersome, but hiking naturally allows for a lighter, freer #experience. With only essentials like water, sunscreen, & a hat, there’s little to carry. This simplicity enhances my #ZenBuddhist practice of being in the moment, appreciating what is, without excess. The focus shifts to the beauty of #Nature, the rhythm of movement, & the profound joy of simply being.
