Major work in the #garden today. #Tomato #seedlings were late getting started, so they are just now getting into big pots. #Tropical plants like #dahlias, #mandevilla and #bouganvillea are finally in their #summer pots, mulched and fertilized. Our potted #JapaneseMaple arboretum is glowing. The Night-blooming Cereus, Princess of the Night #Cactus is out, too. Time to rest and enjoy the view.

When our daughter was about 1 1/2 she gobbled up our homegrown tomatoes and cucumbers. When the season was over and we had to buy supermarket produce again, she spat it out and refused to eat it.
