Na de bloei van de paardenbloem (Taraxacum officinale), zien we de witte bollen met zaadjes die door de wind worden meegenomen.

In feite is de paardenbloem een ondergewaardeerde plant. Immers, de plant is eetbaar en met veel mineralen en vitaminen gezond en geneeskrachtig.
Tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog werd de paardenbloem als wilde groente gegeten bij voedselschaarste.
