Inspired by @PetraHartmann I bought some veggie sausage for my breakfast today and tried it out right away.

It's supposed to resemble lightly smoked chicken slices, but... it didn't taste very well. Not sure I can bring myself to eat more of it.

It's made with wheat protein, which at least should play nicely with the histamine.

This is a learning curve, and I don't mind a bit of trial and error. Being Autistic, with a very fine sense of smell and taste isn't helping, alas.
