Well #veggiedon , absent any suggestions I got Light Life Smart Dogs and Field Roast Stadium Dogs to try.

Both grill up fine and the simulated hot dog skin is okay. Both had that underlying smoke flavour that I am not a fan of. The Stadium Dogs had some garlic and other spices that made them the winner of this round.

Something in the Light Life dogs also had me burping for hours afterwards, so they lose twice.

I don’t actually miss hot dogs, I just need grillable tube food.

habt Ihr ein Rezept für ein fleischloses "Sonntagsessen" bzw. einen "Festtagsbraten"?

Ich mache solche Dinge gar nicht, aber zu Festivus erfordert die Anwesenheit eines Fleischessers einen Kompromiss, der allen schmeckt. Letztes Jahr war es ein extrem leckerer Nussbraten mit Stampfkartoffeln und Rosenkohl, dieses Jahr soll es etwas anderes werden.

Bisheriger Favorit ist Kürbislasagne mit Sonnenblumenhack und einem schicken Salat.

Our favourites are the broccoli burger and the cauliflower burger. Here we have combined it with a fresh salad with cucumbers, dille and mayo and lingonberry jam from Ikea 🥰☺️
