I thought for a moment that #SupernaturalVR was going to be spared from Meta's purge, but no such luck.
I, like many players I'm sure, am going to be there until they shut the lights off, kick us out, and weld the doors closed behind us.
Absolute psycho behaviour. SN is by all accounts wildly popular and seems like it was self-sustaining via its subscriptions, which not a lot of VR services seem to be. And it was polished, professional, and premium in a way most VR is not, and it had a real, human element with the coaches and online community (of people, not legless avatars) that I haven't really seen elsewhere.
This is absolutely a failure of market consolidation and regulation. Lina Khan called this absolutely correctly as being bad for the marketplace and bad for competition.
