Today's 14.1 km walk was a bit on the obnoxious side. 18.9°C with 18.9°C dew point and 100% humidity. Wore the poncho just to make sure it didn't rain. Success, but it might as well have. 10:09 per and a lightly light 64% (96 bpm). I was struggling, despite what it sounds like.
Ah, well. Tomorrow is another day.

This physique is the result of what used to be a strict daily workout routine. These days, life has been a bit busy and I haven't been able to maintain that daily schedule, so I’ve noticed my abdominal muscles starting to soften and recede slightly. Good morning tooters. Chilly start to this morning at just 4c & yes I do have the heater on. The sun is just peaking over the trees behind my place & creating shadows in my garden. It’ll soon warm things up a bit & the temperature will reach 17c again today.
I think I’ve been eating too much fruit lately - feijoas in particular 😬, my tummy is a little twingy. I’ve been googling & I can freeze them whole if I want, but I think it makes more sense to scoop out the flesh & freeze that in small containers. I’ll be doing that later this morning as I am now getting too many. Maybe I will freeze some whole as well & see which is better, future reference & all that.
First up this morning I am heading out for a walk shortly. My walking buddy can’t make it today, but that isn’t going to stop me as I really want to get out of the house for a while.

I’m starting to feel like this regular exercise business has got something to it. If only I’d known that half a lifetime ago. But I didn’t have a health tracker back then. And now I’m vain enough to do it just to get that damn health graph moving up. Conclusion: Worth it!
