gonna toot at least this one. i love this ink, i adore it, i wish to just draw and draw and draw with it. 'tis Koh-I-Noor Technical Drawing Ink in Blue. 'tis acrylic ink so u cant put it in pens, but it can be used with dip pens, glass pens and brushes. here i used Leonardt Hiro 41 nib, for example.

the dragon here is basically a concept for one of my games and technically he's my character as well. am not doing gamedev now as it burns me out and i dont have enough personal resources for it, but i still sometimes think and even sketch my characters from there. this concept is tbh wrong. the dragon looks slightly different. i failed to capture what was on my mind. but i still love the sketch cuz i enjoyed it a lot and the ink was awesome to draw with.

Update time!

The priority at the moment is to make the game more interesting and varied. This update makes investigation worthwhile and gives some creatures resistance or vulnerability to certain actions. Plus a few bug fixes and more minor changes.

The ink’s Noodler’s Black Swan In English Roses with Hocoro dip pen with 1mm nib and Robert Oster Thunderstorm in Sailor Young Profit (the latter’s used only for spikes, teeth and eye).

This is one of the main characters from my setting in which my game projects take place. But being burnt out I sadly had to put the whole gamedev thing aside as I cant return to even just drawing in digital for now…

Re-evaluated a few things, put some cut-content back in, and removed some other things instead.

One cut thing was mid level enemies that are tougher, more complex, and less predictable

fucked up pixel art today again, prolly gonna quit it for a while even bc it tortures me n i fr just plain suck at it. like, even the so-called 'programmer art'. mine's just crappy n no cute at all. will try to think how to convert that game into non-pixel stuff bc i dumbly coded like ~50-fucking-% of it already bc coding is a breeze compared to creating pixel assets in my case. n for non-pixel stuuf all my pre-defined n pre-calculated shit's just not gonna work mostly plus i prolly will rework the whole UI as well. well, no one prepared me that for my asshole brain the hardest part of gamedev will be these fuckign teeny tiny pixel assets, nightmare!

Been a while since I posted to mastodon. I make games now!! This is a project I’ve been working on, it’s a 3d life sim called Kemono Life. Still very early, just in concept stage!

Essentially it’s a life sim that tries to embody a socialist/communal communism economy and game structure, rather than a capitalist one. The goal will be to give agency to the npcs, who will be generated randomly with character customization settings (so you can technically look exactly like them), and they will work with you to build up your community.

The idea is that each character is a nomad, and all real planets have been destroyed. You now simply carry an enchanted object, which can suck you in to your pocket dimension, and this is where you live and thrive. (The object is determined by the type of biome you select to live in)

undecided if I should have options for like. More synthetic bodies, such as ball joint dolls or cyborg/robot skins?
