Il Tempo: "Arrivano lunedì". MeteoGiuliacci: cosa si avvicina dal nord Europa

La prossima settimana sarà caratterizzata da un indebolimento dell'alta pressione e da un aumento dell'instabilità atmosferica. Come descritto da meteogiuliacci.it tra lunedì 1 e martedì 2 giugno un fronte proveniente dal Nord Europa porterà piogge e temporali soprattutto al Nord, con possibili supercelle e locali grandinate. I fenomeni interesseranno anche parte del centro ma solo per alcune ore.

Mercoledì 3 giugno è atteso un nuovo impulso perturbato con piogge intense e un calo delle temperature, in particolare su Lombardia, Veneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Emilia-Romagna e gran parte del centro. Dopo una breve pausa prevista per giovedì 4 giugno, nella seconda parte della settimana potrebbe arrivare un nuovo peggioramento.

Next week will be characterized by a weakening of the high pressure and an increase in atmospheric instability. As described by meteogiuliacci.it, between Monday, June 1st and Tuesday, June 2nd, a front from Northern Europe will bring rain and thunderstorms, mainly in the North, with possible supercells and localized haildrops. The phenomena will also affect part of the center, but only for a few hours.

Wednesday, June 3rd, a new disturbed impulse with intense rain and a drop in temperatures is expected, particularly in Lombardia, Veneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Emilia-Romagna and much of the center. After a brief break planned for Thursday, June 4th, a new deterioration could arrive in the second half of the week.

An unusual heatwave over Italy: according to weather forecasts, in the center and north, mercury levels will reach record highs up to 36 degrees Celsius.

According to the calendar, we are in the final phase of spring, but observing the temperatures, the feeling is that we are already in the full summer. According to the latest weather forecasts, in the next few hours, the recent heatwave will peak, bringing maximum temperatures to 36 degrees Celsius in some northern cities.

This is a thermal anomaly that, according to meteorologist Lorenzo Tedici, responsible for media at iLMeteo.it, will see northern regions record values 8-9 degrees higher than the average for the period.

Based on the most up-to-date weather models, the hottest cities will be Pavia, Piacenza, Cremona, and Modena. But the heat will affect much of the Padano Plain, where temperatures will reach 35 degrees Celsius in cities such as Turin, Bologna, Alessandria, Asti, Vercelli, Milan, Lodi, Parma, Reggio Emilia, Mantua, Verona, Rovigo, Ferrara, and Forlì.

African heat will also prevail in the Center, where maximum temperatures will stabilize between 34 and 35 degrees Celsius. It will be slightly better in the South, with lower values than the rest of the country.

Anomalous heatwave over Italy: according to weather forecasts, in the center and north, the mercury columns will reach record values up to 36 degrees.

Temperatures will return to levels more in line with late spring only at the end of the month, when across much of Italy the maximums will fall between 32 and 34 degrees. A drop that, however, does not seem destined to bring real relief to Italians, due to the increase in humidity in the lower layers of the atmosphere, which will significantly increase the perceived temperature.

Further worsening the situation will be the atmospheric instability generated by these thermal fluctuations: the energy accumulated by the soil during the hottest hours will favor the development of intense, localized afternoon thunderstorms.

Tomorrow, thunderstorms will affect several areas of the North, while in the Center, bad weather will mainly hit the Apennine areas. In the South, probable afternoon showers will remain likely along the Apennines and, locally, along the Campania coastlines, while elsewhere the weather will remain more stable.

Friday will see the sun return to shine in the North, but the thunderstorm phenomena could be sudden and particularly intense. Instability is also forecast for the Center and South.

The last week of May offers summer-like weather. According to the Centro Meteo Italiano, the synoptic situation sees a robust high-pressure area dominating Europe, with ground-level maximums around 1030 hPa over central continental areas. Today’s day will see dry weather conditions across much of Italy thanks to the high-pressure system extending to the central Mediterranean. However, there is still a possibility of isolated showers or thunderstorms in the Northwest Alps, Northern Apennines, and inland Calabria and Sicily. The next few days will not see significant changes with prevailing stability throughout the day and some afternoon phenomena. A hot air bubble will continue to affect Europe, especially Western Europe, with positive thermal anomalies of up to 10 degrees for several days. In Italy, we will have temperatures above average, especially in the Center-North, with maximums that will not have difficulty exceeding +30 degrees. In the second half of the week, and in view of the weekend, we will have a gradual weakening of the high pressure with a greater probability of afternoon instability and a slow drop in temperatures.
