Il Tempo: MeteoGiuliacci: "Ciclone in arrivo". Quando ci sarà la svolta

Nel fine settimana l'Italia sarà interessata da un vortice di maltempo proveniente dal Nord Europa. Come descritto sul sito meteogiuliacci.it, il peggioramento inizierà già da venerdì 15 maggio, con la formazione di un ciclone alimentato da correnti fredde e umide. Sabato 16 maggio sono attesi temporali intensi, con rischio di nubifragi, forti raffiche di vento e grandinate, soprattutto su Lombardia orientale, Triveneto, versanti tirrenici del Centro, Sicilia e Calabria tirrenica. Tornerà anche la neve sulle Alpi centro-orientali oltre i 1000 metri.

Da domenica 17 maggio il vortice si allontanerà, favorendo un miglioramento del tempo grazie al ritorno dell'alta pressione. La seconda parte di maggio dovrebbe risultare più stabile rispetto all'inizio del mese.

During the weekend, Italy will be affected by a storm system coming from Northern Europe. As described on meteogiuliacci.it, the deterioration will begin as early as Friday, May 15th, with the formation of a cyclone fueled by cold and humid currents. On Saturday, May 16th, heavy thunderstorms are expected, with a risk of blizzards, strong gusts of wind, and hail, especially in eastern Lombardy, the Veneto region, the Tyrrhenian coasts of central Italy, Sicily, and the Tyrrhenian coast of Calabria. Snow will also return to the central-eastern Alps above 1000 meters.

Starting Sunday, May 17th, the vortex will move away, favoring an improvement in the weather due to the return of high pressure. The second half of May is expected to be more stable than the beginning of the month.

Il maltempo che negli ultimi giorni ha riportato un clima prettamente autunnale, con frequenti e diffusi temporali, ha le ore contate. Già da questa sera il meteo farà l’ennesima inversione a U, riportando il sole su tutta l’Italia e facendo aumentare le temperature massime.
Qualche precipitazione continuerà a verificarsi, ma si tratterà di fenomeni via via più sporadici, destinati a diventare rari già da domani. In questo nuovo scenario climatico, secondo quanto riporta Lorenzo Tedici, meteorologo responsabile media de iLMeteo.it, si registrerà un sensibile abbassamento delle temperature notturne: le minime potranno scendere fino a 3-4°C, mentre quelle diurne torneranno ben al di sopra dei 20°C.

Se oggi la giornata resterà caratterizzata da una forte instabilità, il vero cambiamento si vedrà da domani. Nel pomeriggio, invece, le temperature subiranno un deciso rialzo, superando anche i 20°C, per poi calare nuovamente in modo marcato durante la notte.
Una dinamica che si ripeterà anche venerdì e che dovrebbe proseguire almeno fino a martedì della prossima settimana. Da mercoledì, però, non si può escludere un ritorno del maltempo, a causa della presenza di un massiccio anticiclone sul Nord Europa che potrebbe innescare temporali diffusi sul Centro-Nord, portando instabilità anche al Sud.

According to Lorenzo Tedici, meteorologist responsible for media at iLMeteo.it, in this new climatic scenario, there will be a significant drop in nighttime temperatures: the minimums could drop to 3-4°C, while daytime temperatures will return well above 20°C.

If today the day will remain characterized by strong instability, the real change will be seen from tomorrow. Already in the morning the sky will be clear, with little or no cloud cover, but the air will be crisp and cool. In the afternoon, instead, the temperatures will rise sharply, exceeding 20°C, before falling sharply again during the night.
A dynamic that will also repeat on Friday and that should continue at least until Tuesday of next week. However, from Wednesday, it is not possible to rule out a return of the bad weather, due to the presence of a massive anticyclone in Northern Europe that could trigger widespread thunderstorms in the Center-North, bringing instability even to the South.

Il Fatto Quotidiano: Hormuz, la nave da crociera Msc Euribia passa dopo 45 giorni di attracco forzato a Dubai

Un viaggio verso il Nord Europa. Una navigazione tra i fiordi norvegesi che rappresentano uno degli spettacoli naturali più suggestivi, se visti dall’acqua. Questo era il programma della Msc Euribia, la cui crociera ha subito un “imprevisto” un mese e mezzo nel Golfo Persico a causa della guerra in Iran e del blocco dello stretto di Hormuz. Niente passeggeri, niente spettacoli e cene con il comandante. Solo l’equipaggio ridotto al minimo.
La tappa forzata però sembra concludersi. Secondo i dati AIS, l’unità della compagnia di Gianluigi Aponte naviga a circa 22 nodi e ha quasi doppiato la penisola di Musandam, all’estremità settentrionale dell’Oman, risultando di fatto quasi fuori dallo Stretto di Hormuz. La Euribia procede in un convoglio di altre navi da crociera: seguono la Celestyal Journey, la Mein Schiff 4 e la Mein Schiff 5 della compagnia TUI Cruises. Inoltre, nel gruppo c’è anche la Aroya Manara di Cruise Saudi, nave la cui destinazione finale è Taranto, in occasione dei Giochi del Mediterraneo di agosto.
Dal 28 febbraio, quando la tensione tra Stati Uniti, Israele e Iran è divenuta guerra aperta, circa 17.000 passeggeri hanno dovuto fare di necessità virtù, rinunciando al viaggio mentre le navi sono rimaste bloccate tra Doha, Abu Dhabi e Dubai. Proprio in quest’ultima località ha trascorso un mese e mezzo la Msc Euribia, con equipaggio ridotto al minimo; la compagnia è stata costretta a cancellare gli itinerari previsti a maggio nel Nord Europa. Di fronte ad una guerra in Medio Oriente, si dirà che l’ultimo dei problemi è rappresentato da navi di lusso costrette ad attraccare in porti del Golfo. In realtà, la situazione vissuta dalla Euribia rappresenta uno dei tanti aspetti della crisi iniziata con la chiusura di Hormuz da parte del regime sciita iraniano. Il passaggio della Euribia ha rappresentato uno spiraglio subito richiuso: otto unità navali si sono tirate fuori prima che Teheran chiudesse di nuovo lo stretto.

A Journey to Northern Europe. A navigation through the Norwegian fjords, which represent one of the most suggestive natural spectacles, when seen from the water. This was the program of MSC Euribia, whose cruise experienced an “unforeseen” month and a half in the Persian Gulf due to the war in Iran and the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. There were no passengers, no shows, and dinners with the captain. Only the reduced minimum crew.

The forced stop, however, seems to be concluding. According to AIS data, the unit of Gianluigi Aponte’s company is navigating at approximately 22 knots and has almost doubled the Musandam Peninsula, at the northern end of Oman, effectively being almost outside the Strait of Hormuz. The Euribia is proceeding in a convoy with other cruise ships: it follows the Celestyal Journey, the Mein Schiff 4 and the Mein Schiff 5 of TUI Cruises. Furthermore, the group also includes the Aroya Manara of Cruise Saudi, a ship whose final destination is Taranto, in connection with the Mediterranean Games in August.

Since February 28th, when the tension between the United States, Israel and Iran became an open war, approximately 17,000 passengers had to make do with what they had, giving up their trip while the ships remained blocked between Doha, Abu Dhabi and Dubai. It was precisely in this last location that the MSC Euribia spent a month and a half, with a minimum crew; the company was forced to cancel the planned itineraries in Northern Europe in May. Faced with a war in the Middle East, it will be said that the last of the problems is represented by luxury ships forced to dock in ports of the Gulf. In reality, the situation experienced by the Euribia represents one of the many aspects of the crisis that began with the closure of Hormuz by the Shia regime of Iran. The passage of the Euribia represented a break that was immediately closed: eight naval units withdrew before Tehran closed the Strait again.

Serpent Seed

This is also known as dual–seed or the 2-seedline doctrine.

This is a controversial (& sometimes racist) doctrine in some fringe Christian or other Abrahamic religious movements that have an interesting interpretation of the biblical “Fall of Man“: the Serpent (the Garden of Eden serpent) mated with Eve in the Garden of Eden. The result of their “union” was Cain.

Followers of this doctrine believe this event resulted in the creation of 2 races of people: the “wicked” descendants of the Serpent, who were destined for damnation, & the righteous descendants of Adam, who were destined to have eternal life.

This doctrine frames human history as a conflict between these 2 races in which the descendants of Adam will eventually triumph over the descendants of the Serpent.

Irenaeus (circa 180. Check out the post about Irenaeus.), an early Church Father, condemned the notion of some people being naturally possessed of seeds of divinity in Against Heresies as a “Gnostic” heresy supported by Valentinus (100-160).

Valentinus didn’t propose that there were kids by Eve through the serpent or that there was a seed of the damned in contrast to the spiritual seed of the elect.

During the 19th century, the full Serpent Seed doctrine was invented by Daniel Parker (1781-1844), who promoted the doctrine among Primitive Baptists & wrote about it in his book Views on the Two Seeds (1826).

This doctrine was embraced by American religious leaders, who wanted to promote racist beliefs. It was brought into the teachings of British Israelism by C. A. L. Totten (1851-1908) & Russel Kelso Carter (1849-1928).

Teachers of the Christian Identity theology, which branched off from British Israelism, preached the doctrine during the 20th century & promoted it within racist groups. Some believers of the doctrine use this to justify antisemitism or racism by claiming that Jews or members of non-white races were the descendants of Cain & the Serpent, who were interpreted to be Satan or an intelligent non-human creature that lived before Adam & Eve.

Around the world, there are millions of followers of the Serpent seed doctrine within Branhamism & the Unification Church. In 2000, there were an estimated 50,000 followers of it within Christian Identity.

The Anti-Defamation League & various Christian apologetics organizations have denounced racist versions of the serpent seed teaching by claiming that they are incompatible with the teachings of traditional Christianity. They’ve accused promoters of exacerbating racial tensions by spreading hate.

In its most prominent modern form, it explains the biblical account of the Fall of Man by stating that the Serpent mated with Eve in the Garden of Eden. The offspring of their spicy time was Cain. It claims that Eve had adult spicy time with Adam a 2nd time. Abel & his younger bro, Seth, were the 2 kids that Adam & Eve had together. So by this theory, Cain was Abel (& Seth)’s half-brother, since they share different dads.

Variations of the doctrine claim that the Serpent‘s descendants have no souls because they’re partially descended from animals & are therefore predestined for damnation. Some groups are markedly militant on the subject because of their millennial teachings. As a result, they believe that at the end of days, a final battle will be fought in which the “pure” race will triumph over the “impure” one.

The identity of the Serpent varies from group to group. Some groups claim that the Serpent is Satan himself. While other groups claim that the Serpent is an animal that is either ape or human-like. Other groups incorporated pre-Adamite ideas that held the Serpent was a non-human creature whose creation predated that of Adam. A test run, if you will.

The doctrine also varies between groups. Some groups claim that the descendants of the Serpent are all people who aren’t of Northern European descent. Other Christian Identity groups claim that the descendants of the Serpent are either Jews or Africans. (We can’t with these people!)

William Branham connected the Serpent’s descendants with Ham (the biblical originator/progenitor of the African peoples), several Jewish figures, the highly educated, & society’s criminals. Arnold Murray connected the descendants of the Serpent with the Kenites, a group of people who he believed had infiltrated some part of Jewish society.

In the Unification Church, the bloodline of all humanity is believed to be contained as a result of Eve’s relations with the Serpent. However, married couples can change their heritages by performing the Holy Marriage Blessing Ceremony. This allows them to become the adopted kids of their new “Adam“: Sun Myung Moon. You may have heard of the Unification Church; they’re also known by another moniker: The Moonies.

Mainstream Christianity rejects the Serpent Seed doctrine. Because the biblical record explicitly names Adam as the biological father of Cain, this teaching is considered incompatible with the Protestant teaching of biblical infallibility. Some critics argue that this doctrine encourages division & fuels racism, which leads to sin.

Other critics point out the theological repercussions of blurring traditional Christianity’s interpretation of the doctrine of original sin. The Serpent Seed doctrine characterizes original sin as a feature of genetic inheritance rather than a spiritual condition.

Mainstream Christianity teaches the belief that all individuals are the spiritual children of Satan because they were born in a state of original sin. Through the act of Christian conversion, individuals can become kids of God through adoption.

This doctrine undermines the basic teaching of Christian conversion by teaching the belief that only individuals who are descended from Adam are the inherent kids of God, a belief which classifies them as the only people who don’t need to convert to Christianity. While the Serpent’s seedling was irredeemable.

Il Tempo: "Quando arriva il fronte freddo". MeteoGiuliacci: temperature in calo

L'alta pressione sta portando temperature sopra la media, grazie anche a correnti calde dal Nord Africa, con tempo stabile e soleggiato. Secondo meteogiuliacci.it questa fase durerà fino a giovedì 9 aprile quando si noteranno i primi segnali di cedimento: più nuvole e lieve calo termico, soprattutto al Nord e al Centro.

Da venerdì 10 aprile arriverà, invece, un fronte freddo dal Nord Europa con peggioramento al Nord-Est, temporali e precipitazioni. Sabato 11 il maltempo si estenderà al Centro-Sud adriatico. Le temperature diminuiranno, tornando su valori più normali per il periodo.

Starting Friday, April 10th, a cold front from Northern Europe will arrive, leading to worsening weather in the North-East, thunderstorms and precipitation. On Saturday, April 11th, the bad weather will extend to the Central-Adriatic South. Temperatures will decrease, returning to values more normal for the period.

Il Tempo: Nuova irruzione di aria fredda sull'Italia: neve e altro calo termico ad aprile

Una nuova irruzione di aria fredda proveniente dal Nord Europa è attesa già all'inizio della prossima settimana e porterà un cambio di scenario su gran parte della Penisola. Lunedì la massa d'aria raggiungerà l'arco alpino, superandolo nel corso della giornata ma senza coinvolgere in modo diretto gran parte del Nord, per poi riorganizzarsi sulle regioni centrali. Sulle Alpi sono previste nuove nevicate, soprattutto lungo i settori di confine e a quote relativamente basse, mentre qualche fenomeno isolato potrebbe interessare anche porzioni dell'Emilia-Romagna.

Nel corso delle ore il fronte freddo scivolerà rapidamente verso il Centro-Sud, con effetti più evidenti lungo il versante adriatico. Qui l'ingresso dell'aria più fredda favorirà un calo delle temperature e il ritorno della neve lungo l'Appennino, con quota in abbassamento fino intorno ai 1000 metri sulle regioni centrali adriatiche.

La fase instabile dovrebbe proseguire anche nei giorni successivi. Tra martedì e l'inizio di aprile è infatti possibile la formazione di un vortice depressionario sul Mediterraneo, destinato a mantenere condizioni di tempo variabile e ventoso soprattutto al Centro-Sud, ancora una volta con fenomeni più frequenti sul lato adriatico. Il Nord e le aree del medio-alto Tirreno dovrebbero invece restare più riparate, pur in un contesto climatico fresco. Si tratta comunque di una tendenza ancora da confermare nei dettagli, che potrà subire variazioni con l'avvicinarsi delle prossime giornate.

A new cold air surge from Northern Europe is expected as early as the beginning of next week and will bring a change of scenery to much of the Italian Peninsula. On Monday, the cold air mass will reach the Alps, surpassing them during the day but without directly involving much of the North, before reorganizing over the central regions. New snowfall is expected on the Alps, especially along the border areas and at relatively low altitudes, while isolated phenomena could also affect portions of Emilia-Romagna.

Throughout the day, the cold front will quickly move towards the Center-South, with more pronounced effects along the Adriatic coast. Here, the influx of colder air will favor a drop in temperatures and the return of snow to the Apennines, with the altitude decreasing to around 1000 meters in the central Adriatic regions.

The unstable phase should continue in the following days. Between Tuesday and the beginning of April, it is possible for a depression vortex to form over the Mediterranean, destined to maintain changeable and windy weather conditions, especially in the Center-South, once again with more frequent phenomena on the Adriatic side. The North and the middle-high Tyrrhenian areas should instead remain more sheltered, even in a cool climate. This is still a trend that needs to be confirmed in detail, and could undergo variations as the next days approach.
