Tentatively dipping my toes in the Fediverse, so here's my #introduction post!

Hey everyone! I'm Alice, developer by day and #multicrafter the rest of the time. My main interest is #crochet though sometimes I play with my #sewing machine too, and one of my goals for this year is to get into #knitting as well. I'm also going back to #writing again after years of avoiding it or, well, I'm trying to. I enjoy playing #videogames in what remains of my free time, last one I played is #baldursgate3 and I might start another campaign soon™️.

Gonna share a couple of crochet projects I'm particularly proud of. See you around the garden!

New server, new #introduction

Hello sunny gardeners! Thanks for having me 😄

I'm Michelle, moving here from artisan.chat which is sadly shutting down. I'm a proud #Multicrafter and mostly toot about #Crafts of all kinds, including but not limited to #Knitting, #Crochet, #Sewing #CrossStitch and things of that ilk.

Love to see, live vicariously through, and enable the creative endeavours of others!

I also do a bit of hobby gamedev over at @teahands, and have a small crafty YT channel which is also now on PeerTube at @[email protected] 🤓

Also also, a big fan of the #Packers and #Eurovision and toot as such during their respective seasons.

Since my old server will disappear soon, I'll attach a few examples of recently completed projects (see alt text for more info).

Progress is being made but going to have to take a break. Hyper fixation is leading to repetitive strain injury again and well, after having to quit crochet for a year because I ignored the pain I will do the responsible thing and take a necessary break … for now. Thats why having different crafts in rotation can be useful #crafts #crossstitch #hyperfocus #selfcare #selfcontrol #multicrafter
