•Democratically-controlled
•Community-building

Housing co-ops should be a key part of any solution to end the housing crisis. I'm glad this article goes into the specifics of how they work in Barcelona.

I would love to see #washingtonstate use regulation to encourage more #mutualistic #housing. City/county/state #statues to give tax breaks for #creditunions that provide #capital for #housingcoops to get started, #realtors to sell to cooperatives, support for super #local #coop #nonprofits. I don't know what that infrastructure is like, but am looking for it.
