The cruelest thing about my situation and being #unhoused is being reduced to living in one of the things I most hate in the world. A #Car.

I am fundamentally opposed to the culture of cars that destroys everything it touches. I hadn't owed a car in years and planned to never own another. Now I live in one. The #financial toll on me is mind numbing.

How much is society at large, major media outlets, podcasters, local and state and federal governments are going to care?

Dryden Warmth Project opens drop-in centre for unhoused people in the community
After more than a year and a half of work, the Dryden Warmth Project opened the doors of its drop-in centre at 34E King St. on Saturday. The space, accessible by a back lane entrance, consists of a dedicated centre for people experiencing homelessness on Saturdays and Mondays from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.
