Mike 🇬🇧 🇪🇺I've had three extremely useful conversations with two different pharmacists today.
The Omeprazole I was prescribed after my last gastroscopy is causing severe pains in my arthritic fingers (despite the hospital consultant saying it wouldn't). Pharmacist has confirmed it's a rare, but documented, side effect of •all• PPIs.
The pharmacist at the GP surgery has arranged for me to get an 8 week prescription of Famotdine instead, and to review it when I'm back from holiday.

In Search of a Better WorldI cannot eat pickled onions no more, I know this. They are major trigger for my #GERD. But I like the taste so much that occasionally the memory of how much I remember liking them overpowers my memory of what happened the last time I tried them.
I just made a new memory I will de-prioritise in about three-six months time in favour of one I last made at least ten years ago.
