Now I've got the Famotidine I can definitely feel that my stomach is settling down.

The appointment for the urgent endoscopy has come through for Monday afternoon.

The blood test results from yesterday are all now in the NHS app, and all are within the reference ranges.

I'm no where near as sleepy as yesterday, thank goodness

I'm still feeling quite unwell with stomach pains.
I've got a GP appointment for early this afternoon.

Constant stomach pain from the still-being-investigated cause is now making me irritable and rather short tempered.

I feel I'm not a nice person to be around at the moment.

It seems that the Famotidine that I didn't think was doing any good, was doing quite a lot of good.

Now I've run out of it - after a one month trial - I was in agony with my guts last night.
I risked an OTC Omeprazole tablet which has settled my belly down, but I'm worried that taking it too long will set off my arthritis again.

The earliest I could get an appointment to discuss the Famotidine with the GP was the 29th so I'm going to have to wing it over Christmas.

Either I've eaten something that's disagreed with me, or these new tablets from the GP don't suit me, but I'm farting for England and my upper chest is tight.
This stuff ( Famotidine) was meant to sort out my reflux problems, not make it worse.

While my arthritis has eased off significantly since I stopped taking the Lanzaprazole, I'm still getting pain in my thumbs particularly in the evenings.
So I'm back to wearing the thumb splint which helps a lot.
At least the knee & hip pains have gone.

I had quite bad back pain in the night which I think might be the pain that Lansaprazole was given in the first place.

I'd rather have the stomach and back pain than the arthritis pains.

I've got a phone consultation with the GP surgery but it's in about 10 days time.

Off my PP Inhibitors for a gastroscopy booked in for tuesday to investigate for #GERD / #GORD - one day off the pills and was throwing up at 3am. Still not got my voice back :(
