Meet Maxie, my newest grown-up OC!

Bright, bubbly and unapologetically themselves, they rock bold colors, kidcore inspired fashion and ever-changing hair.
A cuddly extrovert and jokester, they love making new friends.

Maxie is playful, sometimes cheeky, but never mean, lacking all shreds of malice.
They can stand their ground, tho. Try to bully them or a friends, attack their lifestyle or their identity and they'll tell you, very directly, to just fluff off!

I've a little neuro-divergence here and there. Not exactly of the sort you describe.

I'm a little concerned that some readers will read your post & feel reinforced in their notion that being #Introverted is ND, while being #Extroverted is neurotypical.

This oft-reinforced misconception is as troubling (to me, anyway) as the thought that some ND things can be shrugged off as "they're just shy".

I'd spent a few years in #counseling, most with a single #therapist. I was always trying to become "whole" - more #extroverted, more consistent, more something - and he said to me, "What if this is who you are and you need to accept it?"
