It's generally my nature when I purchase a new tool, that I actually 'read' the manual with big red friendly letters on the cover that say 'you must read this before operating this device' and images of stick figures doing strange things or experiencing disaster... is that under the
#conscientious header or ... I just remembered that I have a history of personifying machines. I named individual lawn mowers as a kid, because each one had a uniqueness and often strengths others didn't. One was hard to start, but once it got going, it never clogged up underneath, no matter how thick the grass was. Another was easy to start, but any more than 4 inches and it would cough and give up. I hate to see a good machine abused or tossed aside when it could be repaired, or given some care, and I'm often nostalgic about gadgets that have become obsolete like they were old friends that I can't abandon in their old age. Does this get filed under 'imaginary relationships'? I might just be really strange, on the other hand.
