We got all sorts of little electric vehicles. With 2 wheels, 3 wheels, and 4 wheels. They don't have a word for the 4-wheeled ones so they only say #eBikes and #eTrikes. The 4-wheeled ones are the worst because they drive in the car lanes. At their speed they should be sticking to the right side of the road, with the bikes. Many drivers and riders of these unregistered vehicles didn't have driving lessons and don't know or care about the rules of the road. It's becoming problematic.

People can complain all they want, but we had it coming. Had they behaved themselves and been considerate of people they're sharing the road with, they could've quietly continued using their wheels freely in most places.

So I am bummed that a month ago I forgot to bid on a very affordable second-hand e-trike on eBay, and just had a little look to see what might have come up since.
And saw the oddest Frankenstein e-vehicle listed, nothing like the standard e-trike but I guess it is classed as such as it's three wheeled. What do you think? Anyone in the Fediverse seen one of these in person or own one?
WardyBikesBrisbaneThis is why I get frustrated with people who claim that campaigning for bikeways is ableist. Popi and Steve are loving their electric tricycle and tandem trike trailer (TTT) combination. They can enjoy adventures together, and also load up their groceries into the baskets.
Many people who can't drive can still enjoy independent mobility by bike or trike - especially with electrical assistance.
Designing our cities to prioritise motor vehicle traffic is ableist. Safe cycleways are great for everyone!

The ideal number of #bikes, I've been told, is N+1. With N being the number of bikes your already own.
My next #bike won't really be a bike though. Planning on getting a compact e-cargo #trike. Not saying I'll buy one this year, or next year. But the next* purchase will* be a #CargoBike.
I hope I resist the temptation of getting another 2-wheeled ride. 🙏 Well, ya never know. 🤷♀️
