Trying to fix a tsdz2 mid-drive ebike motor unit which was not turn the motor. The failure happened after flashing open source firmware so I assumed and ordered a replacement controller. Swapping the controller did not fix it. Ended up opening the motor noticed some charred windings. I should have done more research into diagnosing brushless motors.

On my Christmas ride with the Big Bros I decided to use PAS 3 for my ride back home. Normally I use PAS 1 & 2.

I was still 3 km from home when my #eBike died. 🪫 Had to do pure pedal power. 😵‍💫 Was pretty pathetic. Pedaling speed at ~11km. 😅

And my 2-yr old #Garmin #VenuSq2 that's been dying mid ride is now pretty dead. If I charge it, it turns on, 100% 🔋. But once unplugged, it's totally dead. Disappointing. The reason i got this Garmin was because my 1st/previous Garmin lasted a decade. 🤷‍♀️ #tech

Dangerous E-Bikes with lithium ion batteries that set on fire are commonly sold on third party sites like Amazon, Temu & Ali Express. These Electric bicycles can have no certifications or counterfeit certifications like UL & ISO. UL Solutions International Standards Organization If a safety issue like a battery fire or mechanical issue occurs. Holding the seller or company accountable is nearly impossibly if they are not in America. Especially if they are in China #ebike Electric Bicycle

Started moving instruments today. One load of saxophones - I'd rather expected the baritone and its bulky case to be pretty much a load by itself. But it, three altos, three stands, and a case full of accessories all packed nicely into a single trip, along with a couple boxes.
