It's been many years since the previous time I've played #Godus and it had just two worlds and a couple of adventures or something. All were completed of course and there wasn't anything else to do apart from filling in the sea. When I got a new device, I've decided to check a bunch of old apps, including this game and it was a surprise to see two new worlds in there (added 2 years ago) and there was a watch ads to earn gems thing not working, then I remembered that I have #PiHole nowadays. #DOh

Proper brain fart today. In shower looking at my left foot, I'm sure I could spread my toes more than this. I really stretch my toes out, sees nothing happening. Hmm, what's going here? I'm sure after eight years of barefooted shoes I would be able to have more space between my toes...

Documentation #volunteer sought to finish off what I'd started: using #Quad9 as a daily driver for #DNS over #HTTPS #DoH in a #FreeBSD installation. It's not plug-and-play like some other paltforms I could mention. DNS TXT как канал доставки конфигов: тихо, надёжно, неубиваемо?

Когда сервер с конфигом заблокировали — клиент отвалился. Разбираем способ доставки который сломать сложнее чем сам интернет У любого прокси-сервиса есть слабое место которое не связано с протоколом. Сервер переехал, IP сменился, конфиг устарел — и пользователь сидит без связи пока не получит обновление вручную. Чем больше пользователей, тем острее проблема. Стандартное решение — раздавать конфиги через HTTPS. Удобно, пока URL не попал в реестр. После этого тысяча человек одновременно пишет в поддержку. DNS TXT-записи решают эту проблему не через обход блокировок, а через выбор канала который блокировать политически сложно.
