For simple use cases, I don't see much difference between markdown and #orgmode. The syntaxes differ slightly, both are ugly, IMHO 🙂

However, orgmode allows me to use e.g. #spreadsheet functions, or dynamically created #dot/#graphviz images, which happens once in a while.

Also, I use org-agenda and org-contacts, and sometimes I even link from orgmode files directly into my emails (#mu4e).

Nothing wrong with markdown, but I *always* choose orgmode, "just in case".

Denke da hat jeder seine Vorlieben. Ich habe auf meinem #VPS #knot-resolver als rekursiven resolver laufen, der aber die Filterlisten von #hblock importiert hat. Von meinen clients greife ich über #DoT darauf zu. Bzw. ist mein Heimserver der forwarder fürs lokale Netz und im router als #DNS eingetragen. Der kann dann für alle clients im lokalen Netz cachen und muss nicht jede Anfrage durchs Internet schicken.

@phryk @n3wjack that certainly is an option and for those deploying #PiHole this is certainly a good thing.

I do have #DoT and #DoH servers in the list as well (tho unlike #DualStack [ #IPv4 & #IPv6] this is not a mandatory criterion for being listed and not all support it)!
