Creatively Disrupting Capitalism

So why not disrupt capitalism? Creatively. By which I mean replace the consumption model with a maker model. Or rather, models, because one size doesn’t really fit all and the monoculture of capitalism needs replacing with a diverse array of making things.

#Introduction

For the past 13 years, I taught high school #English and #Writing and coached #Tennis. Once my family expanded, I asked to get out of coaching and was told to start looking for a new job. So I’m on a journey to be home with my boys more while trying to #FreelanceWrite for #Tech, #Tennis, and #EducationalWriting while also trying to write #Creatively.

#SUPPLYVictoria #nonprofit dedicated to #diverting materials from the #landfill has #launched a #free #HandsOn #childrens #WorkshopSeries to #demonstrate how to #creatively #transform #CastOff items into #art & #DIY projects at its #Creative #Reuse Centre, on March 25.

The #MonthlySeries called #ScrappyLastSaturdays — held every last Saturday of the month — is open to children ages 7-12.
