For those of us that love old metalworking machines this channel is awesome.
My dad had a machine shop and he passed away just as he was winding the business down and my kids were toddlers.
I was in no position to keep and look after the machines, all from an era before electronic readouts, never mind CNC capabilities.
There was the old Monarch lathe that he restored, the Deckel vertical mill that came from Germany. It was his first brand new machine. We also had a really nice Hardinge turret lathe and a surface grinder.
What I really regret letting go are the micrometers, gage blocks, and granite surface plate.
So I watch the "Inheritance Machining" channel. He has an amazingly good sense of how to photograph his work, a dry sense of humor, and a calm presentation style that is non-confrontational.
Give it a go, and I'll see you at the bottom of the rabbit hole ...

By the way, don't skip the ads, there is often some humour in them that's worth it
