I can't creatively write worth a damn, but I passed my EngLang O-level with a grade 'A' on the back of editing the heck out of a story my school-friend told me the day before. I should have been an editor, but instead became a computer programmer. Weird, eh?

@Js_wordsmith Yup - if I'd been looking forward back then, I probably would never have seen where I was going to end up. I love what I do for a living now (which apparently is rare for working people), but still wonder what would have happened if instead I'd gone into editing 🙂
