First off and really easy is what the #LondonUnderground, the#Tube, did in early days - make the boiler and firebox rather hot, use that to generate steam to propel the thing undergound, heat it up again when you get back into fresh air.
No need to use #Coal now.
@kali Maybe just maybe the only silver lining of #IranWar and closure of strait of #Hormuz is an accelerated shift towards #renewables. If we can shift surface transport plus sea borne transportation entirely, along with electricity generation, away from #oil and #gas then that would be worthy outcome. But we cannot expect politicians to deliver this.
Let not any crisis go a waste. This crisis ought not be wasted either. Shift to #Green and #CarbonFree.
