Donnerstag mit den Bunten Hunden online, Bunte Hunde Berlin ist eine kleine Kunstschule aus Berlin Mitte. Seit etwa 2021 bin ich dabei, fast jeden Donnerstag bei online Treffen um mit tollen Leuten und Henrik Schrader ( Henrik Schrat) gemeinsam zu malen und zu zeichnen, jedesmal eine grosse Freude. Aktuell steht Hockney auf dem Zettel.

I have said this for years. #Hockney continuing to make poor art is ruining his legacy.
He's old and slow. He absolutely should still make art, but it's up to those around him not to promote it as having the same cultural value that his older works had. For galleries it's money, brings in the crowds.
The Guardian agrees, "The artist has stitched together 100 iPad paintings into a vast digital frieze – but the results risk undermining the pleasure in simple beauty which was his great gift"

Gisteren een rondje musea " in de buurt" eerst het indrukwekkende Musverre met je raadt het al glaskunst. Mocht je ooit in de buurt van Sars-Poteries, Fr, Nord zijn, bezoek waard. Omdat het Matisse museum op dinsdag dicht bleek, op naar Mons voor David Hockney in het CAP. Het bleek 90% ipad werk te zijn. Ook leuk, naar we hadden op meer gehoopt. Naar mijn mening de mooiste zag je overal, want afgebeeld op de reclame.

Gisteren jaar de David Hockney tentoonstelling geweest in het Van Gogh

Hockney, zo was mijn conclusie, maakt vooral kunst die van grote afstand of op de smartphone het goed doet. Kleurrijke platen, maar zodra je dichterbij ontbreken details.

Dit in tegenstelling tot Van Gogh, wiens werk zowel van kleine afstand enorme details bevat, maar ook overeind blijft van grotere afstand.
