As much as dueling #blockades is stupid and destructive, it is also completely unsustainable for #Asia, and particularly the world's two largest countries: #China and #India. End of May the world starts to shut down as nobody in the world can make complex tech or grow food because all supply chains break. Countries that depend on food imports begin famine. Occurred to me that it is all very well for Trump to say that there's no embargo on Russian oil, but nobody else lifted _their_ embargoes on it.

So while the USA is digging itself into deeper holes in the pinchpoint of the Gulf, the navies of other countries would do better to replace American naval ships (in units and in functions) elsewhere than to join in that debacle.
