Mentre Donald Trump accoglieva con queste parole l’arrivo negli Stati Uniti di re Carlo, una visita che doveva servire a riallacciare i rapporti tra Washington e Londra dopo lo scontro pubblico tra il tycoon e il premier Keir Starmer, Sky News pubblicava una registrazione del nuovo ambasciatore britannico, sir Christian Turner, nella quale il diplomatico sosteneva che queste parole erano vere solo nel passato e che gli Usa conservano una relazione speciale “solo con Israele“.
Le parole del nuovo capo dell’ambasciata britannica a Washington, da poco subentrato a Peter Mandelson, rimosso dopo il coinvolgimento nello scandalo Epstein, rischiano così di invalidare lo sforzo diplomatico del Regno che, per ristabilire la pace sull’asse anglo-americano, ha chiesto addirittura l’intervento della Corona. “Nei secoli trascorsi dalla nostra indipendenza, gli americani non hanno avuto amici più stretti dei britannici. È un grandissimo onore avere qui i reali”, aveva dichiarato Trump accogliendo re Carlo, arrivato negli Stati Uniti con l’intento di stuzzicare l’ego del presidente americano. Chi non la pensa come il capo della Casa Bianca è però Turner: gli Usa di oggi, ha detto stando all’audio diffuso da Sky, hanno “probabilmente una relazione speciale solo con Israele”, per poi lanciare una frecciata all’alleato americano anche sul caso Epstein.
Da quanto si apprende, la conversazione è stata registrata nel corso di un incontro con un’associazione scolastica di ex alunni avuto circa due mesi fa. In quell’occasione, il nuovo titolare dell’ambasciata in Usa si è lasciato andare anche a considerazioni sullo scandalo pedofilia che sta terremotando i vertici politici ed economici americani, dicendosi stupito del fatto che questo non avesse “toccato nessuno negli Stati Uniti” fra i tanti vip frequentati dal defunto faccendiere.

Il Tempo: Energia, D'aprile (Mase): "Distribuire omogeneamente data center per sicurezza nazionale"

Milano, 17 apr. (Adnkronos) - "La distribuzione dei data center è ormai una questione di sicurezza nazionale, non solo di digital divide. Concentrare queste infrastrutture in un'unica area aumenta i rischi fisici e cyber. Dobbiamo invece favorire una distribuzione che valorizzi le reti già presenti al Sud, dove le richieste in Lazio e Puglia sono in aumento, puntando con decisione sul recupero delle aree industriali dismesse che sono già infrastrutturate e pronte all'uso". Lo ha dichiarato Laura D'Aprile, capo Dipartimento Sviluppo sostenibile del Mase - Ministero dell'Ambiente e della Sicurezza energetica, intervenendo alla presentazione dello studio di Engie e Key to Energy a Milano.
E aggiunge: “Il decreto bollette, in particolare l'articolo 8, rappresenta una prima risposta per mettere ordine in un settore che ha vissuto una fase iniziale di confusione. L'obiettivo è accelerare la realizzazione di infrastrutture che sono essenziali non solo per lo sviluppo tecnologico e industriale, ma anche per quello sociale, poiché tutti noi utilizziamo dati che devono essere allocati quotidianamente. Con l'introduzione dell'autorizzazione unica - ha spiegato D'Aprile - stabiliamo tempi certi di dieci mesi, prorogabili solo in casi eccezionali, definendo chiaramente le competenze. Il testo è definitivo e in via di pubblicazione, frutto di un lavoro chirurgico e coordinato con il Ministero delle Imprese e del Made in Italy che ha permesso di migliorare sensibilmente la norma".
Secondo l'esponente del Mase, la regolamentazione passerà anche per strumenti di normativa secondaria: "Possiamo utilizzare atti di indirizzo e linee guida, come avviene nei paesi anglosassoni. Le linee guida sulla sostenibilità del 2024 sono in fase di aggiornamento, così come quelle per l'attrazione degli investimenti elaborate con Mimit e Mur (Ministero dell'Università e della Ricerca). La sostenibilità non è solo ambientale, ma riguarda anche i consumi energetici e i relativi costi, tema su cui il governo è impegnato proprio in questi giorni a Bruxelles nel confronto sugli Ets (Emissions Trading System)", conclude.

And she adds: “The bill on energy bills, in particular article 8, represents a first response to bring order to a sector that experienced an initial period of confusion. The goal is to accelerate the realization of infrastructures that are essential not only for technological and industrial development, but also for social development, as we all use data that must be allocated daily. With the introduction of the single authorization – explained D'Aprile – we establish certain deadlines of ten months, extendable only in exceptional cases, clearly defining the competencies. The text is final and in the process of publication, the result of a surgical and coordinated effort with the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy that has allowed us to significantly improve the standard.”

According to the Mase representative, regulation will also involve secondary instruments: "We can use guidelines and directives, as in Anglo-Saxon countries. The sustainability guidelines for 2024 are being updated, as are those for attracting investments developed with Mimit and Mur (Ministry of Universities and Research). Sustainability is not just environmental, but also concerns energy consumption and related costs, a theme on which the government is currently engaged in Brussels in discussions on ETS (Emissions Trading System)," she concludes.
