Ich denke, die SPD ist jetzt offiziell auf dem Niveau, wo Schadenfreude und Häme vorbei sind und Mitleid überwiegt.

Das meine ich jetzt vor allem aus menschlicher Perspektive, denn bei aller Kritik an der Partei (und dem Parteiensystem) steckt da ja auch viel Engagement drin.
Vielleicht ist es ja eine Chance, nochmal neu zu überlegen, was es bedeutet, sich als Arbeiterpartei zu verstehen ...

So many centrists - and even leftists - in the US still seem to believe that all of this will be over after the next election. Setting aside the risk of there not being a next election, even if you people vote in, I don't know, fucking AOC, the damage has been done. The relationship between the US and Europe is done for.

You either cut out the conservative cancer and cauterise the wound, or we will never take the US seriously ever again.

Next time Trump, Vance and their cronies threathen to take Greenland, the EU nations need to combine their most special forces, invade Mar-a-Lago, abduct Trump, Melania, Vance, Rubio, and whoever "important" is present, and bring them to the International Criminal Court in The Hague. Lock them up, indict them, ready court sessions.

If Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen of Denmark wants the US to bomb Nuuk and abduct the Greenland government, I recommend continuing the European line of Trump appeasement.

Alternatively, now would be a good time to condemn Trump’s new war with Venezuela and mobilize an international coalition for the defence of Greenland.
