Today I was reading about the Kharkiv pact from 2010 where Russia agreed to give Ukraine $4 billion in gas discounts every year for leasing the Sevastopol Naval Base in Crimea.

So after invading Crimea in 2014, The Kremlin could now call Ukraine and say, "By the way… we are not paying the $4 billion anymore, because we just found out that actually, our naval base is located in Russia".

The same week where Canada dumps Trump and chooses Sweden to deliver it's AWACS planes, the Netherlands blocks American acquisition of their key IT provider Solvinity, citing the need to protect public interest.

Had the deal gone through, a company from Trump's America would have controlled the main online authentication app used by the Dutch to file taxes, etc.

Surprised that Netflix is AGAIN raising their price in Denmark today, I looked up the monthly price of Netflix premium across 6 EU countries:

Denmark: EUR 25
Germany: EUR 20
Portugal: EUR 18
Sweden: EUR 18
Czech: EUR 17
Romania: EUR 12

In short: Netflix charges over 200 percent of the Romanian price in Denmark.
