Got the laundry started as it is going to be a sunny day.
Started my homework for a course I am studying...better get back to it and stop scrolling through Mastodon!

Sat on my back step and warmed my face in the morning sun. How lovely.
Enjoyed some very nice jam and toast.
Remembered a compliment from a work colleague yesterday which made me feel more confident about my work.

A new technology from #NASA #JPL enables #Perseverance to figure out its whereabouts without calling humans for help.

Dubbed Mars Global Localization, it features an algorithm that compares panoramic images from the rover’s navigation cameras with onboard orbital terrain maps, and runs on the CPU originally used by Perseverance to communicate with #Ingenuity. Calc's a fix in 2min with 25cm accuracy.

So far Brexit looks to have cost the UK between 4-6% GDP per capita, with the negative impact continuing to compound as GDP growth remains weak compared to similar countries.

This chart should be shown each time Nigel Farage tries to make out its been a success (or if not, its not his fault). Brexit was clearly his project, its clearly cost the UK dear (in economic terms) & he should be reminded of this fact continually & publicly
