Meine #Dune #Rollenspielkampagne haben wir am Mittwoch beendet. Neun Sessions haben wir gespielt, aber nun ist vorbei.
Es hatte seine guten Momente, aber insgesamt bin ich ganz froh, dass es zuende gegangen ist.
Weder dass Format der #Kampagne noch die Kommunikation mit der Gruppe haben je richtig funktioniert.

I’ve just rewatched #dune (1984 by David Lynch) and found it a strange but pleasant experience.
I didn’t get into it when I first watched it years (decades) ago but I knew people who had read the novels so the lore was in the discourse around me. Watching it without any context must have been really hard because of the compressed narrative. Watching it today I can appreciate the weird atmosphere and bizarre images and see it as an introduction to this interesting fantasy world.
