Over a year into seriously job-hunting and it is miserable. I remain stubbornly a generalist #SoftwareEngineer with #Infra background, both close-to-hardware systems and web #DevOps #SRE work. Need US remote or #PDX local, no AI or blockchain.
There doesn't seem to be a consensus on whether #FediHire, #FediHired, or #GetFediHired is the hashtag, so I'll use them all to say: please help me find a job so I can pay the mortgage on my queer misfit den and otherwise provide for myself and my family.
Original, highly creative, multi-lingual, multi-ethnic, inclusive, very American (in a hopeful sense) Super Bowl halftime show.
Really made the previous shows look very derivative of each other.
Bad Bunny raised the bar for future halftime shows.
If you live in the US you do not need to give $270 to turboTax or whoever. Especially if your income is one job with a W2.
You can use https://www.freefilefillableforms.com which is run by the government and you can fill out the form on your computer. It has tips and help just like the expensive companies.
The catch is you should start now. You will need to mail it in. You probably got your W2 from your boss this month.
Let's break free! They do nothing to earn those fees.

Nine months before Rosa Parks, a 15-year-old Black child named Claudette Colvin was ordered to move to the back of the bus. She refused, was forcibly removed from the bus by police officers, whom she then assaulted in self-defense.
Ms. Colvin was charged with violating segregation laws, and assaulting an officer. Yet she persisted in her fight as a lead plaintiff in a lawsuit to dismantle racial segregation. Her fight helped end Jim Crow laws.
She has died at the age of 86. π Rest in Power. β€οΈβπ½
