We are getting ready to post a role in Security Operations open to people in Milwaukee, Chicago, or San Francisco in the coming weeks (perhaps days). This role is security operations // engineering around SIEM, forensics, IR, detection engineering, and all things threat. 50-60% engineering and day to day lights on, 40-50% cool stuff. Posted a tentative one a while ago, been pushing off one more, so here goes:

I still need to find a new job.
I am a software dev, professionally mostly web stuff, not my thing, want to move closer to hardware/more technical (e.g. embedded), pick up things very quickly. Other vague interests include graphics programming, algorithm engineering, space or medtech.
Hints for anything nd, queer, and remote (or Berlin) friendly not too much on the "AI" bandwagon welcome.
