I recorded my next video but I don't love it. The Cinnamon theme I was using in Debian doesn't show certain colors well. I will fix it and record it again, probably tomorrow.

Also, I have been looking for better background music. Up to this point, I have used the YouTube library to avoid any copyright claims. It is very limiting so I am looking for a better solution. I do like the bluesy folksy chill music that I have been using, though. We'll see how this video turns out. Putting a lot more work into it.

I want to get better! I appreciate everyone who has given constructive criticism up to this part!

I am not revealing it yet, but here is a hint: For my next video, I am going to focus on one of my favorite applications that I have been using since I discovered it. I love that it is still getting lots of support and it is inclusive. I am going to show how to use it with bash and fish.

The upcoming video will be better planned than my last few. I am seeing my mistakes and I want to improve on them.

Just finished a look into the brand new @elementary OS 8.1!

Is the move to Wayland by default (Secure Session) ready for prime time? Yes, yes it is. I walk through the installer, test out the new workspace switcher in the dock, and check out the new monitor and other apps.

If you are looking for a polished, Ubuntu 24.04 based experience, this release has a lot of polish to show off. Great for new users!
