In line with the value we place on #accessibility , and the reason we encourage people to use image descriptions -

When you're writing hashtags that are a combination of several words, please use camel case (LikeThis instead of likethis) - camel case helps screenreaders read the tag as two separate words, rather than trying to read the hashtag as one word.

I’ve also been encouraged to write an #introduction post. Here I am! My name is Anthony Rapp. For my work, I’m primarily a professional #actor, as I have been for most of my life. I’m also an #author and #filmmaker and theatre #director and #activist (especially regarding #queer issues and #progressivepolitics ) and avid #reader (lover of all kinds of #books especially but not limited to #SFF literature & #modernworldlit & #modernamericanlit ) and avid #DnD enthusiast (as both a player and DM).

Welcome! @feditips is a great account to follow for random Fediverse tips—I've learned (and am continuing to learn) a lot from them. Glad you're here, and I hope that you find the community you're looking for!

P.S.: 16-year-old me would be aghast if I didn't take this opportunity to thank you for being such a pivotal part of my formative years through your work in RENT—thank you!

Back in the 80s, WPHL-TV had a tendency to use very poor quality prints of the cartoons they ran. Splices and film lines were common. Then there were crazy instances like... this...

It isn't all digital 😉

🤣 The platter house I worked in ran double features nightly, with the two features spliced together. We once ran AQUA TEEN HUNGER FORCE COLON MOVIE FILM FOR THEATERS along with both films of GRINDHOUSE—so essentially, a triple feature. The whole pack just barely fit on the platter, with about 2" of surface to spare.

I remember Hoyts! I also remember platter clamps—I felt like I was tempting fate every time I used them. 😆
