#introduction
Hi! I'm an #analog #film #projectionist (#35mm, #70mm, #16mm) working at the Academy #Museum of Motion Pictures in #LosAngeles, CA (views are my own). I mostly post photos of analog film frames, with the occasional behind the scenes photo/video from the #projection booth.

I co-authored and co-edited "The Art of Film Projection: A Beginner's Guide," a comprehensive outline of the materials, equipment, and knowledge needed to present the magic of #cinema to an audience. I also wrote "Endangered Features," a one-person play about the world of #FilmArchiving, #FilmProjection as a technical art, and the evolution of cinema exhibition from its analog roots to cutting-edge digital.
