Trumpâs gone too far: Invoke the 25th Amendment before itâs too late
On Easter morning, President Trump took to Truth Social and issued a statement that would have been unthinkable from any other modern American president. Just reading it was visceral: âTuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran,â he wrote a little after 8 a.m. âOpen the Fâkinâ Strait, you crazy bastards, or youâll be living in Hell â JUST WATCH. Praise be to Allah.â Strip away the shock value for a moment and consider what this represents in practical terms. This is not a stray remark at a rally. Nor was it a misstatement quickly corrected by staff. This is a public declaration, directed at a geopolitical adversary, during an active and escalating international crisis. The 25th Amendment to the Constitution was not written for partisan convenience. It was designed for moments when the continuity and stability of executive decision-making come into question. Its purpose is not to punish a president but to protect the country.
Starmer's Labour planning more cuts
To the surprise of no one at this point, Kier Starmerâs Labour prepares to squeeze more money out of poor people. Anything to not tax billionaires. The (Forced) Labour party seem to earnestly believe that disabled people are just too lazy to work, and cutting their benefits will incentivise them to do so. In reality, what will happen is that most will sink into deeper poverty and many will become homeless. Homeless people are a lot more expensive to the state than people on benefits, and their health will only deteriorate, causing them to be even less likely to work and costing more to the NHS.

Gavin Newsom Is the AI Slop Candidate
AI slop refers to low-quality, mass-produced digital contentâtext, images, video, or audioâcreated by artificial intelligence with minimal human oversight.â The primary difference between Newsom and Trumpâs online behavior is that the presidentâs content feels authentically unhinged, a digital projection of the presidentâs runaway id. Newsomâs content is so cynical that his entire being feels more akin to an aggregator: recycled SEO and viral-bait content often ripped off from better sources designed for nothing more than engagement boosts. Newsomâs politics are as unstable and desperate as his online persona. What should we do about homelessness? Provide services, but throw folks the hell out of here. Do Democrats need to support LGBTQ rights? Yes, except no. Is Israel an apartheid state? Of course, but absolutely not. We could do this all day. Americans seem to notice the hypocrisy. Polling last month from NBC News showed that Newsom is less popular than Trump, with Trump underwater by 12 points and Newsom by 18. For comparison, Pope Leo XIV was up by 34, and Stephen Colbert was up 10 in the same poll. The least unpopular Democrat was Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who was down by 11. (Note that Trumpâs approval rating is worse today than last month, but updated polling that includes Newsom isnât yet available.)
