My housemate has been at uni (she works there) doing marking all day, and I've spent the day cleaning the house and washing all her linen which was smelly from being stored in moving boxes and then just tossed in her cupboard.

The house has been so calm and quiet, all I can hear are my wind chimes and a LOT of birds. The dogs are out in the yard, sleeping in the sun. There isn't a lot of traffic, and it's one of the extremely rare moments my neighbours are quiet.

I've really enjoyed today.
