But Jan. 6 was the culmination of years of political violence. Oregon and other states served as a training and ideology testing ground for the groups who would go on to play leading roles in the insurrection.

The Proud Boys march and fight alongside neo-Nazi murderers like Kyle Brewster. These reprehensible people are the absolutely lowest humans in our society and the type of people authorities should be monitoring, not collaborating with. One wonders what kind of human would even consider these awful humans allies—and it is absolutely chilling that so many who do wear badges.
