PhoenixSerenityI sure miss seeing these magnificent Roosevelt elk, almost daily. They used to visit our yard, several times every week, when I lived in Youbou. My brother lives on Cowichan Lake Rd now & I can see the elk when up in Cowichan Valley 🥰
Old growth logging is destroying their mating/birthing/foraging habitats.

The Deer Whisperer 🦌⚓Sign on the side of the road on US Hwy 101 entering Sequim, Washington. The local herd of Roosevelt Elk are fitted with radio collars that activate the flashing lights warning motorists that the Elk are nearby and could cross the highway.
Went scouting today for an upcoming private photo tour and spotted several herds of Roosevelt elk. Yes, several herds, kilometres apart. I am really good at tracking wildlife 👍
