I sure miss seeing these magnificent Roosevelt elk, almost daily. They used to visit our yard, several times every week, when I lived in Youbou. My brother lives on Cowichan Lake Rd now & I can see the elk when up in Cowichan Valley 🥰

Old growth logging is destroying their mating/birthing/foraging habitats.
