I’m collecting notes about our #clamming experience on the #OregonCoast. First we enjoyed a clamming “explorience” provided by Lincoln City.
Abigail DeYoung taught us how to dig for Purple Varnish clams in Siletz Bay. First she provided a detailed explanation of the regulations, license requirements, catch limits, and various clam species found at this and other locations. Then she explained how to purge and cook the clams.
