Here goes an #introduction.

I am Para- they/he - & I’m a para #SocialWork professional in training (2nd year #MSW ).

I’m a #LivedExperience #PeerWork #advocate who is like…. Very #trans #LGBTIQA #queer #autistic and #disabled.

I’m currently completing a #research placement that’s kicking my ass, but #ParasocialWork is my personal project to construct ways that #parasocial and #omnisocial #digitalservices could work, particularly for the #DigitallyMarginalised people out there.

Getting creative is how I survive and managed to engage in #recovery for myself. I designed and rigged my own lil #vtuber persona for #streams on #twitch, and I build digital mental health resources in my spare time. On mastodon, you’ll also see my nightly #meme habit.

I care more than anything else about building strong relationships with my peers, collaborating towards #SystemicChanges that enable our #CommunityOwnership and #empowerment in creating and owning our own futures. Especially when it comes to #ConsumerChoice and agency in #treatment , and creating #CulturallySafe environments and opportunities.

I don’t believe every system is capable of comfortable and slow #reform itself, but instead some need fundamental upheaval.

I don’t believe #lefty is a dirty word, nor are #advocate, #activist or #SocialJustice. If I was to pin myself anywhere, it’d be adjacent to #SocialEcology or similar. Always #AntiFascist.
