Opened #claim & they responded with "idem was dropped into the mailbox", sent them picture showing there is no way a shoe can go through the opening and they closed my claim saying "contact delivery guy". #France

Why do the delivery services not have a freely available API to use with home automation to know when a package arrives?

I've installed the Mail and Packages integration for Home Assistant. Back when I lived with my ex-wife, I rolled my own with some sort of email reader integration. It definitely had USPS support... I don't remember about Amazon.
