11 days for a birthday card, sent via Second-class Royal Mail, and posted directly outside the sorting office on a Monday, to reach my sister no more than 100 miles from me. The Christmas rush hasn't even started yet.

The mail service in this country has totally gone to pot.

My undestanding was that second class should reach anywhere in the UK within 2 working days.
